Craig Saunders has been named the new Vice President of Artificial Intelligence at Builder.ai, a platform that leverages AI to assist companies and entrepreneurs in going digital. AI specialist Craig Saunders, who spent seven years in the Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) team at Amazon, joins Builder.ai.
Craig was instrumental in developing new technology for Alexa while he was employed at Amazon. He oversaw groups that developed important Knowledge Graphs for Alexa's common queries and responses. In order to increase the precision of knowledge graphs, Craig also established collaborations with leading academic institutions and arranged contests such as FEVER (Fact Extraction and Verification). Additionally, he oversaw Natural Language Understanding research using Alexa's seq2seq models.
